Information you provide: When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide, such as a display name or profile photo.

Usage data: We collect information about how you use the App, including which features you use, reading history, bookmarks, highlights, and notes you create. This data is used to sync your content across devices and improve the App.

AI interactions: When you use the "Ask" feature, your questions are sent to our AI processing partner to generate responses. We do not sell your questions or use them to train AI models without your consent.

Purchase information: Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not store your payment details. We receive confirmation of subscription status from Apple.

Device information: We may collect general device information (device type, operating system version) to help diagnose technical issues and improve compatibility.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App and its features
• To sync your bookmarks, highlights, notes, and reading progress across your devices
• To process and respond to your AI questions
• To manage your subscription and account
• To send important service and security notifications
• To improve and develop new features

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database service. We implement industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Database and authentication
• SpaceXAI (xAI) — AI-powered question answering (Ask feature)
• Apple App Store — Subscription billing and in-app purchases

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. To delete your account and associated data, email us at the address below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
